Burritos (Tortilla Wraps)

Serves 3-4

This dish uses the Chilli con Carne recipe featured on this site. Allow 2 tortillas per person.

Serving suggestion: serve with a side salad as well as the usual Guacamole, Salsa and Sour Cream dips.

Ingredients

 

250g of pre-prepared Chilli con Carne

1 packet of Flour Tortillas

Selection of dips - Guacamole, Salsa etc

50g cheddar cheese, grated

Method

  1. Heat up the previously prepared Chilli con Carne
  2. Place a tortilla on a plate
  3. Put some of the Chilli con Carne mixture in the middle of the tortilla and fold over. (Make sure that you do not overfil the tortilla)
  4. Flick the tortilla over (tricky) and place it back on the plate
  5. Do this until the desired amount of tortillas have been filled
  6. Sprinkle cheese on each serving and place the plate under a hot grill until cheese has melted and turned brown
  7. Be very careful when removing the plate from the grill, it will be very hot!!
  8. Put generous spoonfuls of the dips on top of the Burritos
