Serves 4

This is a really easy to make dessert that looks impressive!

Ingredients

 

3 meringue nests crushed into medium size pieces

Large pot of double cream

Punnet of fresh strawberries or tin of strawberries, drained

1 tbsp of lemon juice

Method

  1. If using fresh strawberries take off their tops, cut two of them in half and set aside. Cut the remainder into small pieces. Pour over the lemon juice
  2. Whip the cream in a large mixing bowl until you can heap it on a spoon
  3. Fold in the meringue
  4. Fold the strawberries into the cream and the meringue mixture
  5. Heap into individual glass bowls or big glasses, decorate with the half strawberries and enjoy
